Select or deselect an element

Choose Home tab→Select group→Select.

Do one of the following:
-
To select one element, click it.
-
To select more than one element, hold the Shift or Ctrl key and click each element.

To select more than one element at once, drag a fence or box around the objects.

In 3D environments, you can:
-
Set Select tool options for controlling element selection.

Use the Selection Manager menu to build a selection set of related faces or features for modification in synchronous environments. For more information, see Using Selection Manager Mode.

In 2D environments, you can:

Use the Select Options dialog box to control the types of elements that can be selected.

Clear a selection

Do one of the following:
-
Double-click in free space.
-
Select another element without holding the Shift or Ctrl key.

To clear the selection of one element and leave other elements selected, click the element while holding the Shift key.

You can change the element highlight and selection colors on the Colors tab in the QY CAD Options dialog box.

In synchronous part and assembly documents, you can control how elements are selected using the options adjacent to the Select command in the Select group on the ribbon.
