Panes command

Use the Views tab→Show group→Panes command to control the display of tool panes, such as PathFinder, Layers, and Sensors.

You also can turn individual panes on and off using this list button in any open container: .

Some containers can be combined into groups of tabs (multiple-page windows) and respond to docking sticker cues, such as those in the default docking pane container located along the perimeter of the window. Others are single-pane containers that cannot be docked. For more information, see Manipulate multiple- and single-page windows.
