Mirror 3D sketch elements

When creating a 3D sketch in a model document, you can use the Mirror command to create a mirror image of 3D sketch entities around a reference plane.

1. On the 3D Sketching tab, choose the 3D Relate group→Mirror command .

   The command is also available on the Home tab in an assembly 3D sketch.

2. Click individual 3D sketch elements, or click+drag to select multiple elements.

   

3. Click a reference plane to use as a symmetry axis.

   To determine which reference plane to use, hover over each plane. A preview of the resulting position and orientation is displayed in the highlight color.

   

4. Click in the graphics window to mirror the sketch using the selected plane.
