Add result plots to the study
-
In the Simulation tree-view pane, right-click the study name and choose the Modify Study command.
-
In the Modify Study dialog box, click Options to expand the dialog box.
-
In the Results Options section, do one or more of the following:
-
To change the types of information displayed in the results environment, select or clear the result type check boxes under Nodal and Elemental.
-
To reduce the study processing time, set or clear the following options:
- Do not process all results after solve check box (faster)
-
This limits the results plots that are preprocessed to just one plot, which is displayed automatically in the Simulation Results environment. You still can choose additional results to process and display, without having to solve the study again.
See Tips, below.
- Generate only Surface results (faster)
-
If the information icon in the Simulation pane
displays a tooltip stating that Results are available only on the surface of the model, you can clear the check box to remove this restriction.
-
-
In the Modify Study dialog box, click OK to update the study definition.
-
To regenerate the study with the new settings, do one of the following:
-
If it is available, choose the Solve command from the ribbon or the study shortcut menu.
-
If the study status indicator shows that the mesh is out of date
, choose the Mesh command and select Mesh & Solve from the command bar.
To learn more: Reviewing the study status.
