Align a hole to an edge center

Choose Home tab→Solids group→Hole .

Lock to a face plane.

Pause over an edge on the locked face plane. This is the edge to align to. Press M to align the hole with the midpoint of the edge.

Click to place the hole. After placing the hole, a horizontal and vertical relationship is added to maintain the midpoint alignment.
