Align a hole to an existing hole axis

Choose Home tab→Solids group→Hole .

Pause the cursor over an existing hole.

When the hole edge and center point highlight, press A.

As you move the cursor in a direction that is parallel or perpendicular to the green highlighted plane edge and aligned with the existing hole axis, alignment lines display. You can change the plane edge by pressing the N. Click to place the hole on the plane.

Choose Home tab→Solids group→Hole .

Pause the cursor over an existing hole.

When the hole edge and center point highlight, press A.

Move the cursor over the target face and the alignment lines display. Make sure the target face plane edge (that highlights in green) is parallel to the alignment direction. Use the N to toggle through the face edges. Click to place the hole.
