Title tab (Technical Requirements Properties dialog box)

Specifies the title text and the title appearance for the technical requirements list. There is one title per list.

Title text

Specifies the title text for the technical requirements list. You can use the Enter key to place text on multiple lines.

This information is saved in Saved settings.

Reference

Property Text

Selects property text to be displayed in parts lists, balloons, callouts, and other annotations. For more information, see Using property text.

Reference Text

Selects text strings from annotations and drawing views to insert the information into other annotations, such as callouts, feature control frames, and balloons.

Select Symbols and Values

Opens the Select Symbols and Values dialog box for you to generate the appropriate symbols and model-derived values without having to type the property text codes yourself. Examples of the types of symbols you can select include ± (plus minus), ° (degree), and ∅ (diameter). Examples of model-derived values include hole references, bend data, and weld beads.

Format

Modifies the format of the property text string output value or text at the current cursor position in the input box.

Displays the Format Values dialog box for you to choose the formatting. You can apply formatting to each valid property text string. The type of formatting you can apply depends on your cursor position when you select the Format button. For property text that extracts the file name or document title, you can change the text case to all UPPERCASE letters. For property text that extracts the date created, modified, saved or originated, you can apply month-day-time formatting.

Font

Specifies the font to apply to the technical requirements title. The available fonts are derived from the style.

Font style

Specifies the font style to apply to the technical requirements title. The options are Regular, Bold, Italic, and Bold Italic.

Font size

Specifies the text size of the technical requirements title.

Color

Specifies the text color of the technical requirements title.

Justification

Adjusts the horizontal alignment of the technical requirements title. The options are Left, Center, and Right. The default is for text to be left-justified.

This setting is saved in Saved settings.

Underline

Applies underline to the technical requirements title text.
