Use ECAD Collaborator to Export PCB data


With ECAD Collaborator you can export:

Export baseline files

  1. Click PCB→ECAD Collabarator.

  2. On the ECAD Collaborator dialog box, click Get PCB data to get the latest assembly data.

  3. In the pull down list, select Baseline to send the data as baseline.

  4. In the Collaborator Directory field, select the common location.

  5. Select or deselect the PCB items that you want to export.

  6. Click Send.

    7. The PCB assembly is exported for the ECAD user to review.

Export changes files

  1. Click PCB→ECAD Collabarator.

  2. On the ECAD Collaborator dialog box, click Get PCB data to get the latest assembly data.

  3. In the pull down list, select Changes to send the data changes.

    You can view modified, deleted or added PCB items using the buttons available on ECAD Collaborator.

  4. In the Collaborator Directory field, select the common location.

    You can view the properties of the PCB items in the Properties section.

  5. Select or deselect the PCB items that you want to export.

  6. Click Send.

    7. The changes file is created and the PCB assembly is exported to the ECAD user for review.

Export a response file

  1. Click PCB→ECAD Collabarator.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • To accept the changes, click Apply.

    • To reject the changes, click Abandon.

  3. Click Send.
