Create a motor


    For information about defining and using motors, see Rotational Motor and Linear Motor commands.

  1. Choose Home tab→Motors group→Rotational Motor .

  2. In the graphics window, select the underconstrained part that you want to define as a motor.

  3. On the Rotational Motor command bar, define the motor speed and limits you want.

  4. On the command bar, click Finish.

Tip:
  • You can use the Simulate Motor command to observe the kinematic motion of the underconstrained parts in the assembly.

  • Only motors in the active assembly participate in a motor simulation.
