Set a reminder to save documents

With a document open in QY CAD, on the Application menu, click Settings→Options, and then click the Save tab.

Choose whether you want to be prompted to:

• Save all documents at a specific time interval.

  Caution:

  Setting this option does not automatically save your documents. You are only prompted to preserve your documents. This approach allows you to work in other applications without being interrupted, and prevents file corruption problems associated with automatic save options in other applications.

• Create backup copies of modified, unsaved documents in the current QY CAD session.

  You can specify that you want to Backup model files or Backup Draft files

Optionally, you can select Prompt for File Properties on first save to have the Properties dialog box be displayed on the initial save of a part, sheet metal document, assembly, and draft.
