Where Used command

Finds where selected documents are used in other documents anywhere on your network.

For managed documents, you can perform a fully nested search. You can expand the nodes in the search results until you get the information you need. The Where Used command can even be used when you are working offline from Teamcenter. When you are offline from Teamcenter, Where Used searches only the contents of your cache.

For unmanaged documents, the results include only the first-level documents. If you expand down more levels, the database is queried when you expand to see nested results.

When you open an assembly or draft document from the Where Used Results dialog box, the selected document opens using the revision rule used to open the parent document, even if this differs from the last used, or the default revision rule.
