Zoom in or zoom out


Zoom in or zoom out using the Zoom command

  1. Choose the Zoom command from either of the following locations:

    • On the status bar at bottom-right in the application window.

    • On the ribbon in the View tab→Orient group.

  2. Do one of the following:

    To

    Do this

    Zoom in once.

    (This doubles the magnification.)

    Click

    Zoom out once.

    Shift+click

    Zoom in and out dynamically.

    Click+drag the mouse.
Tip:

To exit this command, right-click, or press the Esc key, or select another command.

Zoom in or out using the mouse wheel

In the Assembly, Part, and Sheet Metal environments, you can use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

  1. Click Zoom .

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Rotate the wheel backward to zoom in at the current cursor location.

    • Rotate the wheel forward to zoom out.

      Tip:

      To change the direction the wheel zooms, set the Reverse zoom directions option on the View page of the QY CAD Options dialog box

Zoom in or out using keyboard shortcuts

Do either of the following

  • To zoom out, press Ctrl+Down arrow or Ctrl+Right arrow.

  • To zoom in, press Ctrl+Up arrow or Ctrl+Left arrow.
