Save a simplified part to a separate file


  1. On the Modify toolbar, click the Save Model As button .

  2. On the Save Model As dialog box, in the File Name box, type a new name for the document.

  3. In the Save As Type box, select the document format you want to use.

Note:

You can save the new part as a QY CAD document or as a Parasolid body. The new document is not associative to the parent document, and the feature tree is not maintained.
