Rotate about a face or its normal

Choose View tab→Orient group→Spin About .
Click a face to rotate about. The rotate tool is displayed on the face.
On the rotate tool, define the focus of rotation by clicking the line on the face or the line normal to the face.
Drag the cursor to rotate the view, or type a rotation value on the command bar.

Tip:

Press the Home key to return the view to its original isometric orientation.
To reposition the rotate tool, first click the circle at its base to hide the rotate tool, then click another face to specify a new location for the rotate tool.
