3D Line command

Use the 3D Line command to create a line by defining 3D end points. As you draw the 3D line, the line segment snaps to the orientation triad (1) if it lines up with one of the directional axes. A parallel icon (2) also appears to denote that the line is aligned to a triad directional axis. By default, the orientation triad is the base coordinate system. You can also specify a custom coordinate system using the command bar.

In the example above, a parallel relation is applied to the line. You can only edit the position and length. To change the direction you must delete the parallel relationship.
