Convert a synchronous study to ordered

You can add ordered features to a synchronous part or sheet metal study by first converting the study from synchronous to ordered.

1. In the Simulation pane, under the Synchronous node, right-click the study name.

2. Choose Convert to Ordered Study.

   • The selected study is moved to the Ordered node on the Simulation pane.

   • In PathFinder, the Ordered environment bar is activated.

3. Use the available commands to add the ordered features to the model.

   The new features are added automatically to the ordered study.

4. In PathFinder, click the Simulation tab.

   The study status indicator shows the study mesh is out of date.

5. Mesh and solve the study.
