Creating a family of parts

This tutorial provides step-by-step instructions for using QY CAD to create a family of parts, as shown in the illustration above.

A family of parts is a collection of similar parts in different sizes or with different detailing features. For example, you can construct one master part, such as a bicycle gear, in QY CAD Part, then use the Family of Parts pane to specify the gear configuration for each family member. This allows you to manage all the necessary information for a part family in one document.
