Show the parents of a linked part

To see the parents of a linked part, you can use the Show Parents command.

1. In the Design Manager document list, click the Current Filename cell for the document of interest.

2. Choose Home tab→Assistant group→Show Parents .

   If the parent is part of the active assembly, the Status column displays the text, In Context. Otherwise, the Status column displays the text, Out of Context.
