New command

Creates a new empty row in the structure. You have two options for inserting a new empty item into the BOM structure. You can:

• Create a new row in an existing assembly.

• Create an empty item as the root item in a new structure.

You can use the New command when:

• A single row with data is selected.

  Note:

  The New command is disabled if you have multiple rows selected.

• The Item Revision does not contain a part or sheet metal document.

For new rows, you can define the properties:

• Item ID

• Item Revision

• Item Name

• Item Type

• Folder
