Save As All command
Saves a copy of all the files within a QY CAD structure of any file type using a new item number, revision, and item name. This capability can be described as cloning. For example, you can use this command when you want to clone the entire assembly structure and all of its part files, including empty items from Teamcenter that are part of the Bill of Materials (BOM), but contain no QY CAD content. Examples of empty items are packaging material, glue, or any non-QY CAD dataset.
The structure does not have to be displayed in expanded form in Structure Editor. Links within the structure are updated to point to the new filenames. Since the files are being copied, they are not checked out of the Teamcenter database.
When the documents are displayed in the Structure Editor window, the Item Number, Revision, and Item Name are blank since new values need to be assigned.
The Save As All action can be saved for processing at a later time.
The Save As and Save As All commands are invalid for CAD documents not created or owned by QY CAD (such as a driven reference). The documents must be modified in the foreign CAD system. Alternately, you can take ownership of the foreign CAD document so that QY CAD becomes the owner of the item revision.
