SolidWorks Data Migration Start Page
Assists in importing SolidWorks part, assembly, and drawing files into QY CAD.
- SolidWorks

Specifies the name of the folder that contains the documents to migrate to QY CAD. The folder must have read and write access.
- QY CAD

Specifies the name of the QY CAD folder that stores QY CAD documents. The folder must have read and write access for the user that is currently logged on.
- Part Template

Specifies the part template to use when creating QY CAD part files from the imported SolidWorks files. You can browse to search for a template. For more information see, Creating Documents and Using Templates.
- Assembly

Specifies the assembly template to use when creating QY CAD assembly files from the imported SolidWorks files. You can browse to search for a template. For more information see, Creating Documents and Using Templates.
- Draft Template

Specifies the draft template to use when creating QY CAD draft files from the imported SolidWorks files. You can browse to search for a template. For more information see, Creating Documents and Using Templates.
- SolidWorks Configuration

Displays the name of the SolidWorks configuration file to use during translation. This file contains the user-defined settings. The configuration file used by default is SolidWorks2SE.ini, located in the QY CAD 2022\Preferences\Translators folder.
- Log File

Specifies the folder path for the log file to generate during translation. The log file contents provide information such as the files being processed, the status, and where the results of the migration are being placed.

Moves to the next dialog box of the SolidWorks Data Migration Wizard.
- Finish

Finishes the wizard.
