Trim/Extend command bar

Specifies the end face of the frame you want to trim or extend.

Specifies the element to which you want to trim or extend the selected frame face.

This button changes function as you move through the feature construction process. The Finish button constructs the feature using input provided in the other steps. Once you construct the feature, you can edit it by re-selecting the appropriate step on the command bar. The Cancel button discards any input and exits the command.

Accepts the current selection.

Deselects the current selection.

Displays the name of the created trim or extend feature.

Select

Sets the method for element selection.

• Body - Selects the edges in the solid body to which you want to trim or extend the frame.

• Face - Selects a face to which you want to trim or extend the frame.

• Plane - Selects a plane to which you want to trim or extend the frame.

Coping

Specifies if you want the trimmed or extended frames coped. This option is only available for bodies.

Weld Gap

Adds a weld gap to the trimmed or extended end of the frame.

Weld Gap Value

Specifies the weld gap value.
