Move a group of faces radially along a direction


  1. Choose Home group→Solids tab→Revolve list→Radiate .

  2. Click the faces or live section edges to radiate.

    Note:

    You can use the Include All Coaxial Faces option to select a face and all faces coaxial to the selected face.

  3. Click Accept .

  4. On the Radiate command bar, click the Move Faces Step option .

  5. Click the faces to define the moving group.

  6. Right-click to accept.

  7. Click a keypoint to define the moving group direction and right-click to accept the direction.

    Note:

    You can also drag the handle to define the direction.

  8. Repeat steps 5-7 to create more face groups.

  9. Right-click to accept the face groups.

  10. Drag the handle or type a value in the Dynamic Value box to edit the radius.

  11. Right-click to accept.
