Create a component image


The Component Image command is available only when a component sketch is active.

  1. Choose Tools tab→Virtual group→Component Image . The solid and surfaces bodies in the document are automatically selected.

  2. Make any changes to the selection and then accept the selection.

  3. Click the Return button to close the profile view.

Tip:

  • The graphics you create with the Component Image command cannot be selected when you place the predefined component in an assembly sketch. They can only be used for viewing purposes.

  • You can use the Line Color option on the command bar to change the line color of the component image graphics.
