Parts Library tab
Displays the contents of the active parts folder so you can drag and drop parts into an assembly.
You can use the commands on the shortcut menu to control which types of files are listed, whether you want to maintain relationships when placing parts, and so forth.
- Standard Parts

Access QY CAD Standard Parts dialog box so you can choose from a library of parts for your assembly.
- Go to Last Folder Visited

Returns to the last folder that you visited. The Tooltip for this folder displays the name of the last folder you visited.
- Up One Level

Moves the Look In folder up one level.
- Create New Folder

Displays the Create New Folder dialog box.
- Views

Controls the display method for the listed documents.

Large Icons—Displays large icons for the documents.

Small Icons—Displays small icons for the documents.
-
List—Lists the names of the documents in columns.

Details—Displays a detailed view of the folder contents. The columns displayed include Name, Size, Type, and Modified.

- Search

Displays the Search dialog box so you can define search criteria for the document you want to place in the assembly.
Tip:You can place a part in an assembly by double-clicking the part document from the Parts Library tab, or from the search results list following a search in the Parts Library tab.
- Look In

Displays the drive and folder which is currently displayed. You can click the arrow to browse to a different drive or folder. The system stores the last location you browsed in the Look In box.
Note:If you want to browse a network share, you must map the share to a network drive. After you map the network drive, you can select it from the Look In list.
- List Area

Displays all documents in the selected folder. You can use the View Menu button to control how the list of documents is displayed.
- Preview Area

Displays an image of the selected document. You can use the Preview dialog box to specify whether the image is a bitmap or an interactive preview.
