How to (Rack and Pinion)

How to draw a Circular External Rack Gear with known parameters being Module, Number teeth on Rack, Number of Teeth on Pinion & Gear Ratio?

1. In Spur Gear Designer Module, click the options button.

2. Select Circular External Rack from Type of Rack group.

3. Select Find Angular rack travel from Rack Span Calculations group. Click Ok.

4. Enter the Desired Gear Ratio, Module and Number on Teeth on Rack & Pinion.

5. Click Calculate.
