Using project templates with QY CAD Requirements Management
Typically, you create projects in Polarion to organize and manage your requirements. Projects are created from templates that are provided by Polarion and are available for download from the Polarion Extension Portal at http://extensions.polarion.com. Ordinarily, one of the templates available from this site is then customized to suit your specific needs.
QY CAD Requirements Management provides a template for you that can be downloaded from Support Center and used as a starting point. This template is designed to exemplify a typical mechanical or electrical design scenario. It includes a basic change request work item and workflow, and a traceability report. However, you can further customize it to suit your needs.
You are not required to use this template as a prerequisite for using QY CAD Requirements Management. You can alternatively download or use any other Polarion templates available to you.
The project template is available for download from Support Center by valid QY CAD maintenance customers.
