Assign material to a generative study

The generative design study must have a material assigned to the body selected for optimization.

You can:

• Assign a material and also modify the properties of a material using the Material Table command in the Generative Design tab→Material group on the command ribbon.

• Assign a material to the body using the Generative Study Material List in the Material group on the command ribbon.

• Change the material in an existing study using the Generative Design docking pane. Right-click the Material node, and select the Edit Material command on the shortcut menu.

• Assign a default material using the Generative Design tab (QY CAD Options) dialog box.
