Importing copper data


You can import the following PCB copper data items:

Note:

You cannot modify imported copper data and you cannot export copper data from Solid Edge to ECAD.

Copper data is imported as sketches. You can see the properties for the copper data in the Properties section.

When you click Apply to import the file, the log viewer includes information about the copper data. Once imported, the copper data is visible on both the top and bottom layer, based on the layer definition. You can use the ShowAll/Hide All command to show only the copper sketches. In addition to the ShowAll/Hide All command, you can use Filters command to define criteria for displaying the copper data. You can define multiple criteria with the Filters command.

You can use the PCB Collaborator Settings dialog box to change the colors of the color data.

Note:

Incremental exchange of copper data is not supported. You can re-import baseline to see latest copper data.
