Construct a fillet weld


  1. Choose Features tab→Assembly Features group→Fillet Weld.

  2. Click the Fillet Weld Options button, then on the Fillet Weld Options dialog box, define the weld symbol attributes.

  3. Click the base face(s), type the base thickness, and then click the Accept (check mark) button.

  4. Click the target face(s), and then click the Accept (check mark) button.

  5. On the command bar, click the Preview button.

Tip:

  • Fillet welds are displayed using the Weld Beads color.

  • When you set the Unequal Setbacks options on the Fillet Weld Options dialog box, you can also define a target face thickness value.

  • Fillet weld features are not combined with the parts they touch.

  • You can use the commands on the shortcut menu to edit, delete, suppress, and rename fillet weld features.
