Remove a part from an exploded assembly


    The Remove command is available after an assembly has been exploded with the Explode or Automatic Explode commands.

  1. Choose Home tab→Select.

  2. Choose Home tab→Explode group→Remove .

Tip:

  • When you remove a part from an explosion, it is hidden and returned to its native assembly position. You can use PathFinder to redisplay a removed part.

  • You can remove several parts in one operation by holding the Shift key and selecting the parts you want to remove.

  • You can remove all the parts in a bound subassembly by selecting one of the parts.
