Pan a view
Panning a view moves the view within the window.

Choose View tab→Orient group→Pan

Do one of the following:

Click in the view you want to pan, and then click again to show how far you want to move it.

Click+drag to pan the view dynamically.

Tip:
To exit this command, right-click, or press the Esc key, or select another command.
Panning a view using shortcut keys
To pan the view without selecting the Pan command, use the following keyboard combinations.
| To move the view in this direction | Use these keys |
| Pan dynamically | Shift+drag the middle mouse button |
| Pan up | Shift+Ctrl+Up arrow |
| Pan down | Shift+Ctrl+Down arrow |
| Pan left | Shift+Ctrl+Left arrow |
| Pan right | Shift+Ctrl+Right arrow |
