Template List Creation dialog box
- User Templates List

If you designated a directory location on the QY CAD Options dialog box, in the File Locations tab, this section of the dialog displays the templates available from that folder structure.
- Custom Templates List
-
Displays a list of any custom templates you created based on standard templates or other browsed locations.
- Standard Templates List
-
Displays the drafting standards with predefined units of measurement based on that standard. For example, to create an engineering drawing that adheres to the ISO standard with metric units, you select the ISO Metric Standard from the list.
- Templates

Displays the list of template files, along with the display name and description for the template.
- Move Up

Moves the selected template file up in the list.
- Move Down

Moves the selected template file down in the list.
- Remove
-
Removes the selected template from the list.
- Add Template

Displays the name of the template to be added to the current list of templates.
- Browse
-
Displays the Add Template dialog box so you can select a template to be added to the list of templates. The files either exist in a user template folder or a standard folder.
Note:Remove, Browse, and Add buttons remain disabled when a list under Standard Templates or User Templates is selected.
- Displayed name

Specifies text that is displayed in the Displayed Name field for the template.
- Add

Adds the template, displayed name, path, and description of the template to be added to the current template list.
- Description
-
Specifies text that is displayed in the Description field for the template.
- Apply
-
Applies the New Displayed Name and Description to the selected templates list.
- New List
-
Opens the New List dialog box to create a new list name in the Standard Templates pane under a folder named Custom Templates.
- Rename List
-
Opens the Rename List dialog to rename the template list.
- Delete List
-
Deletes the current list.
Note:The Rename List and Delete List buttons are enabled only when a list under Custom Templates is selected.
