Introduction to sheet metal parts with synchronous features

This tutorial demonstrates a typical workflow for modeling the synchronous sheet metal part model shown in the illustration above.

The tutorial introduces you to the QY CAD: Sheet Metal environment and various synchronous modeling techniques, such as:

• Drawing and dimensioning sketches.

• Constructing features, such as tabs, flanges, contoured flanges, cutouts, jogs, and holes.

• Using precision drawing aids such as IntelliSketch.

This tutorial does not demonstrate everything QY CAD: Sheet Metal can do. Its purpose is to show you how powerful and intuitive QY CAD is, and to get you started so you can learn more on your own.
