Edit a synchronous sketch
You can edit a sketch in the following ways:

Select and modify individual sketch elements.

Select a command to rotate, move, scale, and mirror a sketch region.

Extrude a sketch region to create a 3D shape.
Edit sketch elements

Choose the Select command
.

In the graphics window, click a single sketch element, such as a line.
Tip:You may need to use QuickPick to select the individual element you want to modify, particularly if it represents one edge of a closed region.
The element modification handles are displayed. An element handle is represented by a filled circle or square, such as at the end of a line or the center of an arc.

Do any of the following to modify the sketch element:

(Stretch) Position the cursor on one of the modification handles. When the cursor changes to a crosshair, drag the handle to move it.
If the element forms one edge of a closed region, then the area bounded by the region is stretched.

(Move) Position the cursor between the modification handles, not on them, and then drag the element.
If the element forms one edge of a closed region, then the area bounded by the region is resized.

Use the options displayed on the command bar to modify its size, orientation, color, angle, and so forth.

Use any of the 2D modification commands on the Sketching tab to modify a selected element.

Modify a sketch region

On the Sketching tab, choose a sketch modification command, such as Move, Scale or Rotate.

Hold Shift and then click to select all of the individual sketch elements in the sketch region.

Follow the prompts for the command you selected.
Create a 3D shape from a sketch

Place the cursor in the middle of a sketch region so that it highlights, and then click.
The extrude handle is displayed.

Use the extrude handle to push or pull the sketch into a 3D object.
