Place a dimension or annotation using a grid

Choose the Grid Options command

In the Grid Options dialog box, do all of the following:

Set the Show Grid option.

Set the Show Readouts option.

Set the Snap To Grid option.

Select one of these Snap To Grid options:

Using Lines—To snap to the nearest grid line.

Using Points—To snap to the nearest grid intersection.
Tip:-
You also can use a grid to align annotations and dimensions by selecting and dragging them so they snap to a line or a point.

In synchronous modeling, you can use the Reposition Origin command to move and align the sketch plane origin, so that dimensions and annotations remain horizontal and vertical with respect to the 2D and 3D model elements where you are placing them. You can use a grid when placing or aligning any dimension or annotation except bolt hole circles and center marks.
