Overhang command

Use the 3D Print tab→Validate group→Overhang command to identify areas (faces) where supports are required while 3D printing.

Use the command to perform an analysis based on a maximum overhang angle. The analysis returns a highlighted color display of all faces that are more than the maximum overhang angle (default color=red). All faces less than the maximum angle display as green (default color). Select the Toggle Display option to show only the faces that exceed the maximum overhang angle.
