Find a document using Select by Query


  1. With unmanaged documents select for input to Teamcenter, select Edit→Select by Query.

  2. Define the scope of your search.

    You can select the Search Subassemblies check box to include subassemblies in the scope.

  3. Set the Property option you want to query for. For example, you can set the property to Filename, Item ID, and so forth.

  4. Set the Condition option you want. You can set the condition to Contains, Is (Exactly), or Is Not.

  5. Type the value of the property you are searching for.

  6. Click Add to List to enter the information in the Find Items That Match These Criteria portion of the dialog box.

    The documents that match the query properties you defined are highlighted in the application window.
