Use Active Workspace in QY CAD

Active Workspace, an interface to Teamcenter, is a personalized dashboard-type tool for accessing product lifecycle management (PLM) information. You can use Active Workspace capabilities in change management, workflow, requirements management, and visualization to help you accomplish your tasks.

There are two implementations of Active Workspace available in QY CAD:

• Hosted

  After you define your Teamcenter environment to use an Active Workspace enabled server, access hosted Active Workspace from the quick access toolbar in QY CAD , or from the Application menu→Manage page.

• Standalone

  Accessed through a browser window where you log into Active Workspace, find QY CAD data that is managed by Teamcenter, and send the document directly to QY CAD.
