Open a QY CAD document from Active Workspace

The Teamcenter preference AWC_SEEC_OpenSupportedTypes determines the display of the Open in QY CAD command in Active Workspace. When the preference is not present, the Active Workspace Client does not display the Open in QY CAD command.

1. Do one of the following:

   • Access the hosted Active Workspace client through the quick access toolbar in QY CAD , or from the Application menu→Manage page.

   • In your browser, log into standalone Active Workspace.

     Note:

     The standalone Active Workspace Client and QY CAD do not share a Teamcenter server. Each client prompts for a login unless Teamcenter Security Services and Teamcenter Communication Services are installed and configured.

2. Search for the Teamcenter-managed QY CAD object or objects you want to open.

3. From the Open command, click Open in QY CAD.

   When multiple objects are opened, they are displayed in separate document windows.
