Take Ownership Validation dialog box

Taking ownership of foreign documents requires validation of the objects selected against business rules. When one or more of the objects selected fail validation, the objects that fail are displayed along with a message and the option to continue to take ownership of the objects that passed, or exit the command.

Stop or Warning

Specifies the condition of the validation failure.

Object

Lists the objects selected for taking ownership.

Validation Status

Denotes pass or fail of the business rule validation process.

Messages

Indicates if taking ownership of the object selected will exceed the number of working revisions, or that you do not have permission to revise an object. The tooltip shows each message on a separate line.

OK

Exits the command when all objects selected fail business rule validation.

Yes

Verifies to continue taking ownership of the objects that passed business rule validation. Displayed when at least one object passed business rule validation.

No

Discontinues taking ownership of the objects that passed business rule validation. Displayed when at least one object passed business rule validation.
