Add a row

To add a row in Structure Editor, you must have an assembly structure open, have a row or multiple rows with data selected, and the item revision cannot contain a part or sheet metal document.

1. Select a row or multiple rows in the source pane (left pane).

   The insertion point for the new row is determined based on the currently selected row.

2. On the command bar, click Add .

3. Choose an Item Revision from the Open dialog box.

   Note:

   The Revision Rule defaults to the revision used to open the top document in Structure Editor.

4. Click Open.

   A row is inserted into the source and target panes for the added item revision. The Action is set to Add for the added row.

   Note:

   If the row is in the assembly structure in more than one place, the row is added to all occurrences of the assembly.

5. Click Perform Actions .
