Translate SolidWorks documents to QY CAD


  1. From the Start menu, choose UDS QY CAD 2022→SolidWorks Data Migration.

  2. On the SolidWorks Data Migration Start Page, in the SolidWorks folder field, specify a host. You can use the Browse button to display a dialog box that allows you to search for a host.

  3. In the SolidWorks working field, specify the SolidWorks working folder that contains the files you want to translate.

  4. Specify a QY CAD template to use when creating part, assembly, or draft files from the imported SolidWorks files.

  5. In the SolidWorks configuration file field, enter the configuration file name.

  6. Specify a location for the log file information.

  7. Click Next.

  8. On the SolidWorks File Selection page, select the documents you want to open.

  9. Click the Add button to add the selected folder or documents to the list of files to be migrated.

  10. On the SolidWorks File Selection page, click the Next button.

  11. On the Saving Changes page, specify the configuration file to which you want to save the remapped configuration.

  12. Click Finish.
