Saving structural frame components

You can save a frame entity to either a part or assembly file.

• If you save an entire frame, QY CAD creates a top level assembly that contains the same number of subassemblies as there are frame features.

• If you save a frame feature, each subassembly or assembly contains the same number of parts as there are frame feature components. The names for the top-level assembly, subassembly, and part files that are created correspond with the names in Assembly PathFinder. However, you can use the Save As dialog box to save them to another name.
