Construct an offset construction surface


  1. Choose Surfacing tab→Surfaces group→Offset Surface .

  2. Click the face that you want to use to construct the offset and then click the Accept (check mark) button on the command bar.

  3. On the command bar, type the distance you want to offset the construction surface.

  4. On the command bar, click the Show Boundaries button if the surface contains internal boundaries that you want to display.

  5. Finish the feature.
