Perform a boolean operation

Choose Home tab→Solids group→Add Body list .

From the drop-down list, click the Union, Subtract, or Intersection button to define the type of boolean operation you want.

Select a reference plane, construction surface, or construction solid to use as the tool for the boolean operation.

If you selected the Subtract button in Step 2, and a reference plane or construction surface in Step 3, click to indicate the side to be subtracted. Otherwise, skip to Step 5.

Finish the feature.
