Defining the part properties

You can use the Gage Properties tab in the QY CAD Material Table dialog box to define the sheet metal properties for the part you are constructing. These properties are copied to the Variable Table and are used automatically each time you create a new feature. For example, when you construct a flange, the material thickness and bend radius are automatically applied.

If you edit these values later, the part updates. For example, if the material thickness or bend radius for the part needs to be changed, you can edit the values, and the entire part changes to reflect the changes.
