Break the links between a child part and its parent


  1. On the Tools menu, click Inter-Part Manager.

  2. On the Inter-Part Manager dialog box, set the Sort By option to Children.

  3. On the Inter-Part Manager dialog box, select the child entry with which you want to break the links to its parent.

  4. On the shortcut menu, click Break Links
