Assembly Relationship Options dialog


You use the Assembly Relationship Options dialog to set the criteria for relationships that are altered due to a component being moved or copied in an assembly.

When you select the copy option on the Steering Wheel to copy a component as it is moved, the ground is always removed from the copied component.

Do not repair unsatisfied relationships

Unsatisfied relationships are not repaired.

Repair unsatisfied relationships

Select one of the following options to determine the behavior where unsatisfied relationships are repaired if possible.

Adjust offset values and then replace to other components (where possible)

Adjust the offset values and replace relationships to other components when possible.

Adjust offset values only (where possible)

Adjust the offset values but do not attempt to replace relationships when possible.

Replace to other components only (where possible)

Do not adjust offset values but replace relationships to other components when possible.

Remove all external relationships and add new relationships to other components

Select this option to remove all relationships and add new relationships to other components.

Remember my selection and do not show this dialog again.

Activate this check box to preserve your selection.

Note:

You can choose to delete or suppress unsatisfied relationships during the operation. Suppressed relationships appear in the relationship portion of the PathFinder.
